So You Want to Host a Daryl Gibb Clinic

Host Rewards:  Hosting a clinic can be a very rewarding opportunity and can take some hard work to organize, in advance of the clinic and during the clinic itself.  Each Host will be given TWO spots in the clinic for hosting the clinic (Host may sell 1 spot only).  This is to help offset the time invested and perhaps Daryl's meals/housing during the clinic.

Clinic Size:  Each clinic will need a MINIMUM of 6 participants (not including the 2 Host spots).  There is an outline of clinic costs on the Clinics page however, locations outside the Okanagan will incur additional travel expenses so the more participants, the easier to split amongst them.  These travel expenses will be confirmed at the time of tentatively booking your preferred clinic dates so that these costs become split amongst participants.

Clinic Type:  Combination clinics are most popular allowing for a larger variety of participants.  Generally, colt starting would be in the morning followed by Horsemanship & Problem Solving.  Clinics are long days and Daryl can offer 2 private sessions before or after each clinic day upon request.

Facility:  Safe arena to work with horses and riders, in small or large groups.  Round pen or panels for one end of an arena if the clinic is to offer Colt Starting.  The ability to ride off the property is really helpful.

Stabling:  Daryl will bring 2-4 horses to each clinic and will need turnout or stabling.  It is also benefical for the host to have stabling available, or access to stabling close by, for participants travelling to the clinic.  Stabling fees are up to each Host/Facility to set.

Travel Expenses:  Fuel, meals & accommodations for Daryl and 1 assistant (travelling together).  Accommodation can be in-home or travel trailer type.  Expenses will be outlined in detail to Clinic Host when clinic dates are tentatively booked.
